Fassaden glazed timber curtain wall is an innovative timber-glass facade with your choice of interior timber species for a unique "warm" feel to the space. Select from a number of horizontal and vertical mullion designs with wood or aluminum exterior mullion covers. The timber mullion system is completely pre-fabricated and factory-finished with a six-sided coating for a lasting high performance finish.

bullet Various timber mullion designs are available starting from 50 mm [2"] wide, giving slim, elegant sightlines. It is possible to upgrade the backs of the mullion with special design groves or milling. We are happy to consider your suggestions.
bullet Outside the mullion cover profiles can be aluminum or solid wood.
bullet The mullion depth is engineered to meet the span + wind load and design pressure requirements for the specific project location. With timber facades the depth of the mullion is not constrained to a standard extrusion size.
bullet Residential spans of up to 4 m [13 ft] and large commercial spans up to 6 m [19 ft] are available.
bullet Fassaden Windows exceed the new proposed phase 2 requirements of the U.S. DOE IECC/Energy Star window criteria set to go in effect in 2012.
bullet Fassaden offers triple-glazed windows, doors and timber curtain wall supplied with 44 mm [1¾ in.] infill thickness, gas filling and acrylic warm-edge spacers. These type of facade products are certified by the Passive House Institute as Passivhaus components.
bullet Fassaden standard triple-glazed timber curtain wall products have U-Values = 0.12 Btu/H ft2 °F.
